Dealer Account Requirements & Program Details – Alpha Series Lighting & BTS Lighting
Program Overview
Alpha Series Lighting and BTS Lighting partner exclusively with stocking dealers who are committed to actively promoting and selling our products. Our program is designed to provide strong margins, reliable supply, and dedicated support to dealers who meet our stocking and performance standards.
We do not offer Jobber accounts. Smaller shops, installers, and fleets are encouraged to purchase through our authorized stocking dealer network.
Stocking Dealer Requirements
To qualify as an authorized stocking dealer, you must meet the following requirements:
- Initial Buy-In: $3,500 CAD minimum opening order.
- Annual Minimum: Maintain at least $5,000 CAD in purchases per calendar year.
- Quarterly Activity: Place at least one order every quarter to keep your account active.
- MAP/MRP Compliance: Strictly adhere to our MAP & MRP Policy. Zero tolerance for violations.
- Stocking Commitment: Inventory must be physically held in your store or warehouse.
- Business Verification: Valid business license, resale certificate/tax ID, and commercial address required.
International Dealers
We welcome qualified international dealers. Please note:
- No prepaid freight threshold outside North America.
- International dealers are responsible for arranging their own freight broker and import clearance.
- Master Dealer Program: For select regions, we offer an exclusive “Master Dealer” status. A Master Dealer holds distribution rights within their territory, and all future dealer inquiries from that area will be directed to them. Contact us for availability in your region.
Drop-Ship / Non-Stocking Dealer Accounts
We may approve drop-ship or non-stocking dealer accounts on a case-by-case basis for proven, established e-commerce platforms. Additional restrictions and requirements apply, including:
- Demonstrated high-traffic, functional e-commerce site.
- Approval of sales channels and product presentation.
- Enhanced MAP/MRP monitoring.

Maintaining Dealer Status
